Frequently Asked Questions Frequently Asked Questions

Hello fans! Thank you to all that have already purchased tickets for WrestleSlam 3 so far.

There are a few things that need to be stated here aswell as things based on what we get asked on a daily basis.

Please read everything. If you have any additional questions after reading it then contact us.

Just to clarify and for those fans that ask us who will be appearing at WrestleSlam 2 on Saturday 31st January 2009, the list is as follows: SID JUSTICE, X PAC, THE WARLORD, THE BARBARIAN, MR FUJI, HOWARD FINKEL, NIKOLI VOLKOFF, BUSHWACKER LUKE, LANNY POFFO
This is the final line up. YES, those guys will actually be there! These are the real deal, the real people you watched in years gone by. No fakes, No look-a-likes, No tribute acts, No cardboard cut-outs... the real stars! Everyone is confirmed! If you have bought General Admission ticket, then you may purchase autograph/photograph tickets at a later stage
However we remind all fans that autograph & photograph combo ticket prices are ONLINE EXCLUSIVES, that means that they are only for those who purchase online, and as such may change on the day of WrestleSlam 2. The cut off date for tickets bought before the day of the event aswell as the Online Exclusive prices is Monday 29th January 2009! After this date all Online Exclusive prices will end and all tickets must be purchased on the day and at the venue for the prices stated below.

Of course, if you have already purchased all of the tickets you require then you do not need to know this information :)

A lot of people who have purchased tickets are still asking "when do I receive my tickets in the post?"... So WrestleSlam needs to stress once again that NO tickets will be mailed out prior to the event, all tickets must be claimed on the day event from the venue with a print out of your confirmation email aswell as matching ID. There are no exceptions to this.

Which brings us to our next point TERMS AND CONDITIONS. The above point, aswell as the answers to alot of the questions you are emailing us with, are in the terms and conditions on this site. We advise all fans to read the terms and conditions, and WrestleSlam assumes that all fans have read these. We cannot take responsibility for those fans that have not... all literature you see on this website is intended for your reading.

Every fan must purchase a General Admission Ticket to gain entry into WrestleSlam to collect all autographs/photographs (general admission is included for those with VIP Tickets), and only those people in posession of autograph/photograph tickets for a particular wrestler will meet that wrestler. For example, if you have a photograph or an autograph (or combo) ticket for Ted DiBiase, then you will meet Ted DiBiase, if you do not, then you will not (as is the same for all other wrestlers).

An autograph ticket entitles you to one (1) autograph from the wrestler. That the autograph ticket is for, any additional signatures/autographs required from that wrestler must be purchased seperately in the form of autograph tickets. Similarly, a photo ticket entitles one (1) person to one (1) photo with a the wrestler that the photo ticket is for.

You can get ANY item you want signed by a wrestler you have an autograph for. Promos, photos, belts, posters, magazines, etc., it doesn't matter, you can get the signature on whatever you choose.

Also a number of fans contacted us regarding the 'bad reputation' that wrestling conventions in the US have. Well, first and foremost, conventions in the US are not 'unreliable' or have a 'bad reputation' ... Those are just the ones that are more publicised, and we are pretty sure that these negative views are based on just a couple of conventions, namely the one in San Fransisco... But several members of the WrestleSlam team have attended many conventions over the years that have run smoothly enough and conventions happen in the US all the time, with only a few making the bad press (which alot of fans take as the given). The first WrestleSlam

Please check back for anymore updates in the coming weeks, and if there is any additional information you require then do not hesitate to contact us.

Q: Why do I have to pay admission to the event and then for each autograph and photo with the wrestlers seperately? Shouldn't that all just be included in the general admission price?

A: We are only charging £15 for general admission into the event, so that it is accessable for all fans, if we were to include photos and autographs in the price then we would have to charge ALOT more for general admission. So by charging the amount we do, fans get to enter the event, but at the same time pick and choose who they want to meet, and get autographs and photos with etc, as opposed to being charged a high admission fee to meet everyone, as they may not have any interest in meeting some of the wrestlers, despite paying for that privilege, when they could have easily paid less to meet the wrestlers they really wanted to. Also, THIS EVENT IS CAPACITY CONTROLLED, which means that the number of people inside the venue cannot exceed a certain number, due to safety regulations put in place by the venue itself, so we have to somewhat limit the number of people there, hence general admission is charged so that those who really want to be there will be and the event does not turn into a free for all.

Q:Can I use my own camera to get a photo taken with a wrestler?

A: Yes, with the purchase of a photo ticket for that wrestler.

Q: Why do you charge me to use my own camera to take a picture with a guest?

A. These shows cost ALOT of money to put on. Each wrestler is contracted to sign and take photos for a set amount of time. They do not work for free. The hotel, airfare, meals and other expenses are not free. You have to remember that every last thing that you see at WrestleSlam has had to be paid for. We feel our prices are fair, and if we didn't charge for photos, then we would not be able to make the funds back that it cost to put on the event in the first place.

Q: Can I get my own items signed?

A: Yes, if you purchase an autograph ticket for each item to be signed then you can get whatever you want signed.

Q: Why do you charge me for each Autograph? Why cant I get multiple signatures for free?

A: Once again this show is expensive to run, and the costs of doing so need to be made back somewhat at least. As much as we enjoy doing this event, without the neccessary funds, there simply would not be an event. Also due to time constraints and trying to accommodate every fan in attendance who wishes to receive autographs, offering a free for all would no doubt result in some fans missing out as other fans take up more time requesting many and repeated autographs, etc.

Q: Will you have Photos available for purchase of the guests appearing?

A. We will have a selection of 8x10 high quality photos of the wrestlers appearing available to purchase at the event, should you wish to do so. 8x10 photos are not included in Autograph prices.
